Betty Jean Wallace, age 91, of Zanesville, passed from this life on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at Adams Lane Care Center. She was born on March 5, 1925 to the late Clarence and Gladys (Clinton) Gibson. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Wallace, Sr.; a son, William “Little Billy” Smith; and thirteen siblings.

She leaves behind to mourn her loss, a daughter, Lorraine Portis, of California; three sons, Daniel Wallace, Jr., David Wallace, and Donald (Kelly) Wallace, all of Zanesville; three grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.

Betty enjoyed activities such as crochet and completing word puzzles in her free time. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
