Carol Ann (Norris) Person

Carol Ann (Norris) Person, age 59, of Zanesville, Ohio went home to be with The Lord at 10:57 a.m. on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at Genesis Morrison House Hospice, surrounded by her family, after a long, courageous battle with cancer. 
Carol was the 8th child born on October 15, 1958 to the late Ervin E. Norris, Sr. and DorothyGene (Martenia) Norris. She graduated in 1977 from Tri-Valley High School, in Dresden, Ohio. Carol was a dedicated member of Church of God and Saints of Christ. She was very, very helpful to the church Leaders in Belleville, Virginia until her illness as property manager and or in any other capacity that she was asked. She was always more than willing to help those in need.
Carol is survived by her loving husband, Michael Person of the home; step-daughters, Tobey Skinner and Keshunda Dailey; step-grandchildren, Lewis, Rontrell and Jordan Skinner and Demorion White; 1 step-great grandchild; brothers, Ervin E., Jr (Yukyi), of Newark, Richard (Debbie), of Zanesville, Nathan (Becky), of South Carolina, Anthony (Marilyn), of Zanesville; sisters, Donna Norris, Barbara (Gordon) Newman, Patricia (Daddy Eric) Alexander, all of Zanesville; sister-in-law, Vicki Mayle; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 
In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by brothers, Walter E., Sr. and Joseph L.; sister, Diana L. Kelley; and a nephew, Jason Richard Norris.
You may call on the family Thursday, February 22, 2018 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Burrell Funeral Services. Additional visitation will be Friday, February 23, 2018, at 9 a.m. , where funeral services will be observed at 10 a.m., at Church of God Saints of Christ, 516 Cliffwood Ave. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
