Darin Allen Childers, age 52, of Zanesville, was called to his home in Heaven, Wednesday, July 19, 2017. Darin was born on November, 17, 1964, in Ohio to the late Charles Augusta and Ethel Mae (Gilmore) Childers. In addition to his parents, Darin is preceded in death by a brother, Dwayne Lee Childers.

Darin leaves behind his wife, Peggy Childers; daughters, Anna (Brad) Cassell, Becka Highland, Crystal Childers, and Megan Childers; grandchildren, Lillie Cassell, Colton Cassell, Weston Cassell, and Layla Highland; a brother, Ralph Childers; and a host of other family and friends.

Darin was a loving and dedicated father and grandfather. He was content to spend time at home with his loved ones. Darin was also an avid college football fan and enjoyed watching games. Darin was a talented handyman, and was able to fix anything handed to him. Cremation has been chosen. A memorial service in Darin's honor will be held Sunday, July 23, at the First Baptist Church, 80 E Main Street, South Zanesville, Ohio at 3 p.m. with calling hours from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the First Baptist Church.
