ZANESVILLE. Ellen C. Pritchett, age 79, of Zanesville, passed away
Sunday, January 24, 2016 at Genesis Health Care System following a
short illness.Ellen was born December 31, 1936 in Newark, New Jersey
to the late Ralph Russell and Carlissa (Scott) Robinson. In addition
to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, John
A. Pritchett; sisters Virginia Lee and Delores Connor; brothers, Ralph
F., Gilbert, David and Kenneth Robinson; and a nephew, Stephen Mayer.
She is survived by a sister, Madeline Mayer; a brother, Ronald
Robinson; a son, Dana A. Pritchett; a daughter, Nedra Pritchett;
grandchildren, Jasmine, John, Lyric, Dana and Nia;
great-grandchildren, Ciryl, Shalon, Brayden, and Kaleigha; amongst a
host of nieces and nephews, are Kathy Lee, Shamonique Lee, Christina
Robinson and Herbert Mayer; as well as many other friends and
relatives, including those she came to know and love while living at
Maple View Terrace, with whom she enjoyed activities such as
volleyball and bingo. Ellen loved her work as a seamstress and was
known to be very talented in her sewing. You may call on the family at

Churchman Funeral Home, Newark, New Jersey on Monday, February 1, 2016
from 3 p.m. until  5 p.m. and again from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m., with a
service Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in
Rosedale Cemetery in Orange, New Jersey.
