Floyd N. Ervin, 86, of Zanesville, died July 22, 2016 at Genesis Hospital. He was born March 12, 1930 in Bearfield Twp., Perry County Ohio to the late Floyd and Regina (Spangler) Ervin.  
He was a class A welder and a talented carpenter and enjoyed building houses.  He was also a veteran having served in the US Army  and Navy.  The family would like to thank the staff at the Oaks at Northpointe for their excellent care. 
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Lois Ann Folk-Ervin and one brother, James Ervin. 
He is survived by six children, Teresa Ervin- Hawkins, Stephen (Belinda) V. Ervin, Tamala J. (Jerry) Ervin-Murvine; Tina Ann (Terry) Ervin -Browning, John E. (Mutino) Ervin, Angela Sue (Mike) Ervin Grigg, 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; sister, Melvina Ervin-Gibbs and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. 
No service will be observed per Mr. Ervin's wishes.  Cremation has been chosen.  Condolences may be expressed at the guestbook link.
