Mary Lois Highman, 92, daughter of Fred and Pearl Baker, formerly of Woodsfield, Ohio passed away April 5, 2017 at Willow Haven Care Center.  She was born February 11, 1925 and resided in Zanesville since 1942. 
She was retired from Good Samaritan Hospital, having been a secretary in the Cardio Pulmonary Unit.  She is survived by her only son, Michael Highman; sister-in-law, Carole Whealdon; son-n-law, Albert Heskett,  all of Zanesville; several nieces and nephews; two special friends/caregivers, Cierra Melick, of Newark and Kristy Browning, of Zanesville.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 48 years, Burdette Eugene Highman of Zanesville, who died May 12, 1992 and one daughter, Karen Heskett of Zanesville who died February 19, 2008.
A graveside service, per Mary's wishes, will be Monday, April 10, 2017 at 10 a.m. with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery.   Condolences may be expressed at guestbook link.
