Vanessa Ann Howe Harrison was born on July 19, 1954 and took flight into eternity on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at the age of 62. Vanessa was from Zanesville Ohio and relocated to Columbus, Ohio in the early ‘70s.
Preceded in death by her parents John and Lillian Howe; sisters Edith Howe and Susan Whitehead; brothers Clarence “Bear” Simmons, John D. Howe, and William E. Curtis; mother in-law Irene Harrison, step-son Dameon Marshall and nephew Michael Howe.
She leaves to cherish her memories to her husband Gary H. Harrison; son Ronald "Buster" (Angie) Howe of Zanesville, Ohio; daughter TyeEast (Larry)Crews Jr. of Columbus, Ohio; grandson Larry J. Crews III; granddaughters Destiny,  Cierra, Haley, Devyn, Olivia, Kyndal and Lexi; great grandson Edjuan “Pumpkin" Jr; stepsons Raymond Grizzard, Darvenon & Gary Marshall;  brother Victor (Cheryl) Howe; sisters Carolyn Mann, Rebecca (Virgil) Johnson, Rayshell (Frank) Wiseman & Rita Howe; a host of step- grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives; special niece Victoria Dowdy and special longtime friends Linda McCall, Debbie Williams and Ruth Early. 
She will be missed by those who had the pleasure of loving her and the privilege of knowing her. 
Viewing will be Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at 10 a.m. with funeral service to follow at 11 a.m. at the Wings of Hope Tabernacle.  Pastors Keith Wyatt and Terry Newman will officiate.  Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.  Condolences may be expressed at guestbook link.
