William 'Bill' Leo Higgins, 64, died March 16, 2017 at his home. He was born October 23, 1952 to the late Leo Thomas and Patricia Ann (Richeart) Higgins in Zanesville, OH.

Bill was retired from Zanesville City Schools after 34 years as custodian. He had served as president and vice president of OAPSE for several years as well as executive board alternate for AFSCME as representative for local Public School employees. He enjoyed fishing and riding his motorcycle. His presence will truly be missed by all.

Surviving are his wife of 46 years, Judith Ann (Ford) Higgins; daughter, Sonya (Chris) Paisely; grandchildren, Darby and Darcy Harry; several nieces and nephews as well as family and friends.

No viewing or service is planned per Bill's request. Cremation has been chosen. The family would like to thank Genesis Hospice for their wonderful care.  Condolences may be expressed at guestbook link.
