Connie Watts Obituary

Connie Sue Watts, 70, of Zanesville, gained her Heavenly reward Friday, August 16, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. Connie was born June 21, 1949 to the late Harry and Lucille (Moore) Harper. In addition to her parents, Connie is also preceded in death by three brothers, Harry, John and Bill Harper; two sisters, Leona Smith and Violet Blake.

Connie leaves to remember her forever, her loving and dedicated husband of 53 years, Donald “Lyle” Watts; her sons, Joe (Michelle) Watts, Mike (Amy) Watts, and Donnie (Nancy) Watts; eight grandchildren, Todd (Devin), Zach (Courtney), Eric, Jeffery (Caitlyn), Nicole, Ray, Cayden and Caitlynn; great-grandchildren, Ronin Watts, and her newest grandchild who’s name was told to only her; a sister, Bernice; and a host of other family and friends.

Connie was the epitome of a Godly mother, wife and friend. She was a dedicated member of Norval Park Church of Christ. To count the mouths fed and stomachs filled by Connie is impossible. She brought joy to all who knew her through her marvelous baking skills including her famous ‘Twinkie Cake’, giving out home-grown vegetables from her garden, or simply greeting you with a hug and a kiss each time she saw you. Connie was proud of all her children and especially her grandchildren. Connie was a collector of wind chimes. She was an avid fan of Elvis Presley, she loved to visit the amish country with her friends, and above all else, Connie loved and lived her life for her Lord and Savior. She will be missed forever.
