Elaine Ann Shumate

Elaine Ann Shumate, 25, of Zanesville, passed away Sunday, February 11, 2018. Elaine was born November 21, 1992 to Tonya Alexander and Clarence Davis.  In addition to her parents, Elaine leaves behind to mourn her loss, her beloved children, Ramyiah and Aliahna; maternal siblings, Lori, Brooke, Miah, and Bree; paternal siblings, Juwana, Nakeya, Terrell, Clarence Jr., Quantez, Shaquille, Edward and Mya; maternal grandparents Glen and Ruth Alexander; step-father, Preston; and a host of family and friends.
Elaine is preceded in death by her uncle, William Alexander; and special friend Matthew Mock. Elaine was known for her endless laughter and joking around. She was a loving mother and enjoyed family time, especially with her children. Elaine was known for doing her hair and makeup beautifully. She will be missed by many.
