ZANESVILLE. Ferne Elizabeth Cash, age 86, of Zanesville, passed away Saturday, May 27, 2017 at her home. She was born December 6, 1930 to the late James C. and Alice M. (Covert) Dillon. In addition to her parents, Ferne is preceded in death by three sons, Mitchell, Thomas and George Cash; and a sister, Doris.

Ferne is survived by her loving husband of 70 years, Charles W. Cash; children, Kenneth (Linda), and Charles P. Cash, Lori Adams, and step-daughter Savannah Cash; grandchildren, Thomas Mitchell (Tish), James, Justin, Matt, Josh, Stone, Jennifer, Maranda, and Makayla; amd great-grandchildren Ireland and Shae; siblings, Bernice Sigrist and Glenn Dillon.

Ferne was a devoted mother. She enjoyed activities such as gardening flowers and plants, as well as cooking and sewing. Ferne was an avid reader, and especially enjoyed Beverly Lewis books. Ferne was loving to all and never met a stranger. She will be greatly missed.
You may call on the family Thursday, June 1, 2017 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. with services to follow at 1 p.m. Minister Orlen Bates officaiting. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. Condolences may be expressed on our website. BURRELL FUNERAL SERVICES is serving the family.
