George Pemberton, Jr.

George Pemberton, Jr., 64, of Zanesville, passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at Altercare of Zanesville. George was born February 8, 1955 to the late George and Abenell Pemberton, Sr. 

Though George has outlived his family members, he found a place in the hearts of the staff of Altercare who had the honor of caring for him. As a veteran of The United States Marine Corps, George also leaves a nation filled with those he served to protect. 

Following his military contribution, George went on to work in the medical field. He spent the end of his life with the staff of Altercare, where he was part of their family. He will be missed by all those who had the honor of knowing him.

You may pay your respects to Mr. Pemberton, Jr., Tuesday, October 29, 2019 from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m., with funeral service to follow at 12 p.m., at Burrell Funeral Services, in Zanesville. Burial will take place in Dayton National Cemetery, Wednesday, October 30, 2019at 1 p.m. BURRELL FUNERAL SERVICES is honored to serve Mr. Pemberton, Jr.
