I've known Ray over 40 years, he was always a good and decent person. I remember playing neighborhood football with him as kids ,tackle of course. Ray was always the star player .When we kids, one of us decided to go down to the train yard, hop a boxcar and ride the trains all the way to California. Well we never made it out of Zanesville that day, probably got hungry and decided to go home, I don't know : ) he was a good friend, he loved God, his family and as I said, a good and decent person

I met Ray when he was first married to my stepsister. We remained friends throughout the years but lost contact. As it always seems to happen, we were able to meet again. Ray was the same fun loving man I had known from years ago. My son is the man he is today because of some of the values Ray had taught him. Ray will be missed. My prayers are with his family and his circle of friends. God bless Ray and his loved ones.
