Jeffrey "Jeff" L. Ransom, age 65, passed away Sunday, November 12, 2017 at Genesis Hospital. Jeff was born February 25, 1952 to the late Ralph and Marian (Singer) Ransom. In addition to his parents, Jeff is preceded in death by a brother, Howard Ransom; and a sister, Naomi Houston.
Jeff leaves behind to mourn his loss, his wife of the home, Crystal Ransom; daughter, Nichole (Dale) Schwartzmiller; two step children, Joshua Baker, and Kayla Baker; three grandchildren, Bently, Arabella, and Lillion; brother, Michael Ransom; sisters, Sarah Babb, and Ruth Ann Ransom; as well as numerous family friends, nieces and nephews. 
Jeff was a graduate of Zanesville High School and went on to attend MATC. He then went on to work for Brockway Glass for 40 years. Jeff enjoyed motorcycle riding, as well as spending time with his grandchildren and church family. Jeff was also a member of the Anchor Church for 12 years. He was a great husband, father and grandfather. He is sure to be missed by many. 
You may call on the family on Thursday, November 16, 2017 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Anchor Church, 1365 Chamberlain St. Funeral Services will be held Friday, November 17, 2017 at 10 a.m., also at the Anchor Church, Pastor Aaron Bounds officiating. Burial will follow. BURRELL FUNERAL SERVICES is serving the family.
