Karen Kay Pyatt, 69, of Zanesville, Ohio passed away on Monday, August 19th, 2019. Karen peacefully joined her husband of 46 years, James R. Pyatt after a long battle with congestive heart failure. Although Karen has always led the way through life’s challenges, she leaves behind her children, Joseph Pyatt, Darrin (Claudia) Pyatt, and Jennifer (Dan) Conkle; sisters, Carla (Roger) Samson, of Zanesville, Patricia (Daniel) Kincheloe, of Nashport, and Marsha (Terry) Richards, also of Nashport; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.
May Karen’s light continue to shine through the legacy of her wonderful life and memories as we continue in remembrance of her journey. You may call on the family Friday, August 23, 2019 from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m., and 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., with additional calling on Saturday, August 24, 2019 from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m., with funeral service to follow at 12 p.m. all of which is to be held at Union Tabernacle Church, 2433 Hartford Ave. Minister Terry D. Newman officiating. Burial will follow in Irville Cemetery, Nashport, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, the family appreciates any monetary donations made to assist with final expenses.
