Larry Ingram Obituary

Larry R. Ingram, 71, of Zanesville, passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at his home. Larry was born April 29, 1947 to the late Homer and Elizabeth (Wilson) Ingram. In addition to his parents, Larry is also preceded in death by a sister, Judy Helsel; and two very close friends, Russ Nocera and Butch Ferry.
Larry leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Lynn Ingram and his beloved dog, Remington, who were his best friends; son, Marc Ingram; siblings, Kathy (Dan) Moyer, Rosetta Ingram, Giselle (Kevin) Leiden, and Jeff Ingram, all of Altoona, PA; several nieces and nephews; and sister-in-law Denise (Charlie) Medley.
Larry graduated from Altoona High School and later went on to join the United States Navy. Later, Larry went on to work as a construction superintendent. Larry loved to spend time with his friends and family. He enjoyed activities such as hunting, fishing and traveling. In his free time, Larry loved playing cards and he always liked to pull a good prank on his friends, especially Don Wells. Larry was a member of the Eagles, VFW, Amvets, and the Moose.
The Ingram family would like to thank all of our wonderful neighbors and countless friends for all of the help and support through this difficult time. We would also like to thank Primecare of SEO, Dr. Gregory Kelso and his entire staff, Ohio State Wexner Medical Center, the ALS Association, Interim Health Care and Hospice, and the Washington Township Fire Department.
"How wonderful life has been with you in our world, we love you forever" from your best friend and wife, and baby boy "Rem". Larry will sadly be missed by all, but he is in a better place now, with his family and will suffer no more. Per Larry's wishes, no services will be observed, and cremation has been chosen.
