Lewis C. Miller, 55, of Zanesville, passed away Sunday, July 28, 2019. Lewis was born November 23, 1963 to the late Paul C. and Ruth E. (Holley) Miller, Jr. In addition to his parents, Lewis is also preceded in death by a sister, Paula; and a brother, Russell.
Lewis leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Sheila G. Miller; his beloved children, Kathryn and Kaitlyn Miller; a sister, Janet Richardson, of Canal Winchester; nephews, Michael (Brenda) Richardson, of Mechanicsburg, VA, Scott Richardson, and Bill Richardson, both of Canal Winchester; great nieces, Brianna, Addie, Chloe, and Stephanie; brother-in-law, Carl (Tara) Taylor, of Zanesville; and a host of other family and friends.
Lewis was a man of many talents. He loved music and played the bass guitar most of his life. He not only enjoyed listening to and playing music, but writing it as well. Lewis was a gifted wood worker, often making beautiful pieces. Some of his creations reflected his wonderfully unique sense of humor. Lewis also enjoyed painting, his works of art comparable to those of Bob Ross. You could often find Lewis with a cup of his 'rocket fuel', or his thick, strong coffee to get him through the day. He was a dedicated and loving father and husband. He will be deeply missed.
Per Lewis' wishes, cremation has been chosen and no services will be observed at this time. BURRELL FUNERAL SERVICES is serving the family.
