Mona Rae (Ogg) Moody

Mona Rae Moody, 71, of Zanesville, passed away Friday, July 12, 2019 at her home. Mona was born September 9, 1947 to the late Russell A. and Addie Marie (Hannan) Ogg. In additon to her parents, Mona is also preceded in death by a sister, Linda (Ogg) Eaton; and a brother, Mike Ogg.
Mona leaves to cherish her memory, her loving children, Dawn Marie (Noe) Barrientos, and Matthew (Cheryl) Moody; grandchildren, Olivia, Victoria and Vanessa Barrientos, James, Caleb, Isabella, Lucas, Makayla, Simon, Jacob and Timothy Moody; sisters, Sandra Jo Kinser, and Patsy Berry; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.
Mona was a hard working and talented woman. She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church, where she contributed to services with her beautiful organ playing. Mona loved music. She enjoyed card club with her friends. One of her many talents include painting, and she was known to make lovely works of art. Mona is described by her children as a great mother, who would put anyone in need before herself. She will be deeply missed. Per Mona's wishes, cremation has been chosen. A memorial service in Mona's honor will be held Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at Faith United Methodist Church, 1616 Blue Ave, from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. BURRELL FUNERAL SERVICES is serving the family.
