Priscilla "Ditty" Anna (Cochran) Dungee

Priscilla Anna "Ditty" Dungee, 79, of Zanesville, Ohio went to be with The Lord at 5:02 a.m. Sunday, February 10, 2019 at her residence, following a lengthy illness. Ditty was born February 28, 1939 to the late Pernell and Magdalene Cochran. In addition to her parents, Ditty is also preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Dungee; a daughter, Nelvenia "Tammy" Edwards.
Priscilla is survived by her children, Eugenia Dickinson of Zanesville, Stephanie (Jon) Weatherspoon of Columbus, Eugene "Snoogie" (Alicia) Dickinson, Melissa (Dan) Norris, and Latasha (Bishop Taylor) Dungee, all of Zanesville; 15 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 3 great great-grandchildren; sisters, Marcella Reece, of Zanesville, Sandra Smith and Pauletta Cochran, both of Columbus, and Orvella (W.G.) Romine of Kansas; brothers, Pernell Cochran of Columbus, Theodore Cochran, Alvin Cochran, and Anthony Cochran, all of Zanesville; and a host of neices, nephews, other family and friends.
Priscilla enjoyed life and laughter. More than anything Ditty loved spending time with her family. She worked for many years as a caregiver before retiring from The Abbot Home. Priscilla was a kind and loving woman who never met a stranger. She will be dearly missed by her children and family, as they cherish her life-long memories. You may call on the family Saturday, February 16, 2019 from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m., with funeral service to follow at 12 p.m., at Burrell Funeral Services. Per Priscilla's wishes, cremation will follow. BURRELL FUNERAL SERVICES is serving the family.
