Richard "Ricky" G. Edwards

Richard "Ricky" G. Edwards, 61, of Zanesville went to be with The Lord on Friday, April 19, 2019. Ricky was born May 13, 1957 to Bernice Edwards Jones and the late Richard "Dicky" Edwards. 
In addition to his beloved mother, Bernice, Ricky leaves behind to mourn his passing, his wife, Karen Edwards; his loving children, Shawntel (Julie) Edwards, Kyisha and Kenzi Suttles Edwards; step-son, James "Jamie" Murphy; grandchildren, Licia and Dovontay Edwards, Cameron and Camille Murphy; special grandchildren, Rashawn and Dean Johnson; a sister, Kimberly Edwards Smith; two nephews, Craig and Lance II Smith; two great-grandchildren; nine nieces and nephews; and a host of other friends and family.
Ricky was an amazing man. He loved and lived life to the fullest, cherishing every moment. Ricky was a great friend to many. Ricky loved being outdoors, doing activities such as kyaking. However, photography was Ricky's passion, and he was known to capture the most memorable moments. Above all else, Ricky's greatest love was his family. He was loved and will be greatly missed by many.
You may call on the family Thursday, April 25, 2019 from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m., with funeral service to follow at 12 p.m., at The Hands of Faith Church, 607 Brighton Blvd. Pastor Mike Bullock officiating. Cremation will follow. BURRELL FUNERAL SERVICES is serving the family.
