Robert "Bob" Edward Allen

Robert Edward Allen, 69, of McConnelsville, passed away Sunday, July 29, 2018 at 4:29 a.m. Bob was born July 27, 1949, to the late Franklin and Helen (Francis) Allen. In addition to his parents, Bob is also preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Allen.
Bob leaves behind to cherish his memory, his daughter, Christina (Michael) Grayer; grandson, Xavier Grayer; granddaughter, Presley Grayer; sister, Ruth (Dana) Houand; and a host of other family and friends. 
Bob was a United States Veteran, after serving in the United States Marine Corps. He was a Fort Frye High School graduate, member of the class of 1967. One of the greatest joys of Bob's life, was fishing. He was an avid fisherman and spent any free time he had on the sport. Most importantly, Bob was a loving father and grandfather. He will be missed. You may call on the family Friday, August 3, 2018 from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m., with funeral service to follow at 12 p.m., at Burrell Funeral Services, 414 LaSalle St., in Zanesville, Oh.
