Ruth May Boyden

Ruth May Boyden, 92, of Zanesville, passed away Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at her home. Ruth was born August 20, 1925 to the late Charles A. and Annabelle (Matthews) Howard. In addition to her parents, Ruth is preceded in death by her husband, Franklin W. Boyden, Sr.; three children, Beatrice Kay Boyden, Franklin W. Boyden, Jr., and Jeffrey Howard Boyden; and siblings, Herman Howard, Robert Howard, and Fred Johnson, Gertrude Hodges, Andrew Howard, Steven Howard, and Charles Howard. 
Ruth leaves behind to mourn her loss, her son, Brady Fred Boyden; siblings, Doris Vinigar, Barbara Howard, Carol Howard, Donald Howard, Willis Howard, and Wilbur Howard; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many other friends and family.
Ruth was a member of the Union Baptist Church of Zanesville. She was a dedicated mother and grandmother. Her memory will live on through those who knew her. You may call on the family Tuesday, May 29, 2018 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., with funeral service to follow at 1 p.m., at Burrell Funeral Services, 414 LaSalle St. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
