William James Norris, Sr.

William J. Norris, Sr., Sunrise May 15, 1924, Sunset June 27, 2019. William is preceded in death by Betty Logan, Mary A. Norris, Sharonda Norris, Daniel Norris, Anitra Norris, Shameka Bowen, and Robert Lamont Woods.
 He is survived by his eight children, Michael Tony Bowen (Columbus, Ohio), Linda Norris (Columbus, Ohio), Yvonne Edwards (Columbus), William J. Norris, Jr. (Zanesville), Sheila Woods (Columbus, Ohio), Jeffrey Norris (Reynoldsburg, Ohio), Jessica Norris (Columbus), Vivian Lewis (Columbus, Ohio); and a brother, James Norris (Zanesville, Ohio). 
William is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends. The family will receive friends on Tuesday July 2, 2019 from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m., with funeral service to begin at 12 p.m., at Anchor Church, 1365 Chamberlain Street, Zanesville, OH. Pastor Aaron Bounds officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. BURRELL FUNERAL SERVICES is serving the family.
