Charles William Nethers

Charles William Nethers, 72, of Zanesville passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2020. Charles was born October 10,  1947 to the late Verall H. and Mabel F. (Myers) Nethers. In addition to his parents, Charles is also preceded in death by 11 siblings; a son, Charles, Jr.; and a step-son, William Young.
Charles leaves to mourn his passing, his beloved wife, Carolyn S. Nethers; his children, Patty Angler and Buffy (Glenn Ore) Fox; step-children, Carol "Sis", Jenny, Jamie and Richard; siblings Mary Grooms and Larry Nethers; grandchildren, Martin (Whitney) Angler, Amanda (Shawn) Penrod, William (Tasha) Nethers, Megan Robbins and Amber Robbins; 9 great-grandchildren; 14 step grand and great-grandchildren, including Melissa Brandon and Richard McCandlass, Jr., whom he helped to raise; and a host of other family and friends.
Charles loved to spend time fishing. He was also an avid BINGO player. Charles loved to use his hands for activities such as guitar playing or building. Above all else, Charles was a family man who loved time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He will be deeply missed. 
You may call on the family Tuesday, July 28, 2020 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., with funeral service to follow at 1 p.m., at Burrell Funeral Services, 414 LaSalle St., Zanesville, OH. Minister Ben McKinstery officiating. Burial will follow in Hanover Cemetery, 1529 Co Hwy 275, in Newark, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made directly to Burrell Funeral Services to offset funeral expenses. Per CDC recommendations, and Ohio Regulation, all guests will be asked to wear a self provided face covering. BURRELL FUNERAL SERVICES is serving the family.
