Christina D. Croston

Christina Croston, 83, of Zanesville, Ohio, passed away Sunday, January 1, 2023 at Genesis Hospital. Christina was born March 18, 1939 in Elizabeth, West Virginia, daughter of the late Earnest C. and Blanche (Holbert) Mayle. In addition to her parents, Christina is also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert Croston; four sisters; and four brothers.
Christina leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Robert Croston, Nathan Croston, Betty Curtis and Wanda Ned; her brother, Dennie Mayle; several grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and a host of other family members and friends.
Christina dedicated several years of employment to the Lear Corporation where she worked in assembly. She took pride in taking charge of her family, keeping everyone in line. Christina was an organized woman who liked to keep things in order, her way. She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister. She will be missed.
You may call on the family Thursday, January 5, 2023 from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m., funeral service to follow at 12 p.m., at Burrell Funeral Services, in Zanesville. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, where Christina will be laid to rest alongside her husband. BURRELL FUNERAL SERVICES is serving the family.
