Cody Waller Obituary

Cody was a loving son, brother and uncle. Cody Allan Waller, 29, of Zanesville, Ohio unexpectedly went home to be with The Lord on Thursday morning, December 9, 2021. Cody was born June 4, 1992 in Lake City, Florida, the second son of Jessica and Terry Waller, who raised Cody in Zanesville, Ohio.
Cody touched many lives outside of his family. His memories live on in his Mom and Dad, Jessica and Terry Waller; his big brother, Terry (Tiffany) Davis; his baby sister, Crystal (Corey Mangold) Waller; his nephews, Kayden, Dakota and Ryker Mangold; his nieces, Sophia, Lillianna and Chloe Davis; grandparents, Debbie Lankford, Rick (Mindy) Waller and Leah Nuss; several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends, including Raymond Mayle, James Fowler and neighbors that loved Cody tremendously.
He was part of the graduating class of Zanesville High School in 2011. Cody passionately studied building maintenance at Mid East Career and Technology Center. He used that education to assist his family, friends and neighbors whenever he could with that overly specific complex "Cody Way".
Cody was a kind, generous and beautiful soul. He was not quiet, as he was eager to help anyone that needed a hand, a laugh or just a smile-- Cody was just there. There will be a void within all of Cody's family, who loved him so very much.
Cody loved playing with his nephews, helping his neighbors and taking care of animals. Most of all, Cody loved his family and making them laugh. And annoying them for his own laughs. He loved being outside, tinkering around. Cody was an exceptional young man who brought so much to so many people.
A note, from Cody's beloved Mom:
"Cody,
You are not only my son, you are my best friend. My rock. You were with me no matter what life threw at us. You will never be gone, nor forgotten. I will carry you with me always. Rest in Peace, my son. This is not 'goodbye', this is 'I will see you later'. Never a goodbye, only a later. I love you my son. Goodnight, Cody. I love you."
Though Cody will be missed greatly, our loss is Heaven's gain.
Per the family's wishes, cremation has been chosen and no services will be observed at this time. BURRELL FUNERAL SERVICES is serving the family.
