Cory Jaymz McClintock

Cory Jaymz McClintock, 19, of Zanesville, passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2020. He was born August 3, 2000 to Tara Marie Swartz and the late Jaymz E. McClintock. In addition to his father, Cory is also preceded in death by a grandfathers, James McClintock and Shane Halley; great-grandparents, David L. King,  John and Wanda Halley and Buddy Potts; aunts and uncles, Teresa Halley King, Shawn Halley; and a special friend, Derrik Stemm. 
Cory leaves to cherish his memory, his loving mother and step-father, Tara and Jonathon Swartz; sisters, Tasia and Madison; relatives, Alan and Pam Hill, Brian and Lisa Crawford, Thelma King, and Nancy Potts, Destiny and Audrianna McClintock; many aunts and uncles, other family members and friends. 
Cory was a Zanesville Community High School graduate. He loved his family and friends. Cory enjoyed his free-time with his cousin, playing basketball or PlayStation. He liked dancing, acting goofy, and riding around listening to music. His favorite artist was NBA YoungBoy. Cory loved to draw. He also loved any opportunity to dress nice and show off his shoe collection, he was obsessed with shoes. Cory was very friendly, he could strike up conversation with anyone he met, and would do anything he could for others. He will be deeply missed.
You may call on the family on Monday, April 27, 2020 from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m., with funeral service to follow at 2 p.m., minister Donnie Watts officiating. Please be advised that per CDC recommendation, guests will be asked to wear a self-provided face covering. A maximum of 50 mourners will be permitted.  Per the family's wishes, cremation will follow. BURRELL FUNERAL SERVICES is serving the family.
