Crystal McKnight Obituary

Crystal Hope McKnight, age 32, of Zanesville, passed away peacefully on April 10, 2021 after a courageous two-year battle with cervical cancer. She fought the toughest of battles, that no one should have to endure; she did it with courage, positivity, and strength.  Her beautiful light will forever shine, and we thank God for blessing us with her.  She was born July 4, 1988 in South Carolina, and grew up in Zanesville OH; daughter of Jeannine Johnston, Deaderick and Faye McKnight.
Crystal was a dedicated mother of two beautiful daughters, Kilynn and Amara. A member of Grace Wesleyan Church, and the Assistant General Manager at Bdubs – she impacted many lives and made lifelong friendships. She enjoyed doing diamond art, and spending time with friends and family – laughing, telling stories, and playing games.
If love could have saved her, she would have lived forever; her infectious smile will never be forgotten as it lives on through her daughters, sisters, and in each person’s smile that radiates such joyfulness to those around them.
In addition to her parents and her daughters, Crystal is survived by her sisters, Shalona (Josh), Tequila (Angie), Tori and Bayleigh Hazlett; her brothers, Carl, Michael, and Lashon; as well as her close childhood friends, Kirby, Laken, Kailyn, and Courtney; her Southern family, led by Michael McKnight; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Crystal was preceded in death by her grandparents Beatrice and Tommy Martin; and Barbra Adams.
You may call on the family Tuesday, April 13, 2021, from 11 a .m. until 1 p.m., with funeral service to follow at 1 p.m., at Burrell Funeral Services, in Zanesville. Pastor Paul Wallace officiating.
