Curt R Gibson

Curt R. Gibson, 59, of Zanesville Ohio, passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2024. Curt was born on May 22, 1965, to Clarence and Barbara (Anderson) Gibson. In addition to his parents, Curt is preceded in death by his brother, Toni Anderson; Maternal grandparents, Elsie and Carlon Anderson; Paternal grandparents, Gladys and Clarence Gibson.

Curt leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 33 years, Effie Burchfield; children, Laken Gibson, Nate (Hayley) Gibson and Whitney Gibson; grandchildren, Kay’Aaliyah, Za’Kiyah, Jai’Shaun and Paleah; siblings, Clarence Kevin Gibson and Starla Kennedy; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins; as well as many other friends and family.

Curt was an avid golfer, sometimes leaving his family to believe he was Tiger Woods. Curt also enjoyed going fishing and gambling. Most importantly of all things, Curt enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Curt will be missed by all that knew him. 

You may call on the family on Friday, July 26, 2024, from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. with funeral services starting at 12 p.m. Burial will follow the funeral service in Woodlawn Cemetery. BURRELL FUNERAL SERVICES is serving the family.
