Dane Lemoyn Penrod

Dane Lemoyn Penrod, 85, of Crooksville, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at his home. Dane was born October 14, 1936 to the late Ellis H. and Martha S. (Pilsbury) Penrod. In addition to his parents, Dane is also preceded in death by his beloved wife, Ann Elizabeth Penrod; sons, Doug and Dennis Penrod; brother, Ellis Marlin Penrod; sisters, Charlene Barbour and Mary Jo; and a grandchild, Dennis Allen Penrod.
Dane leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Danny (Pam) Penrod and Debbie (Ronnie) Peters; grandchildren, D.J. (Cindy), Dougie, Shawn (Amanda) and Scott Penrod; great grandchildren, Mackenzi, Dennis, Paige, Kristopher, Gracie, Summer, Klaira, Kendall and Korah; many nieces, nephews and cousins; as well as a host of other family members and friends.
Dane was a United States veteran, having dedicated service to the US Army. He went on to work for many years as a truck driver. Dane was a believer in The Lord. He enjoyed worshipping with both the House of Prayer and Rhema Churches in Roseville, Ohio. He will be deeply missed by all who loved him.
You may call on the family Monday, July 25, 2022 from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m., with funeral service to follow at 2 p.m., at Burrell Funeral Services in Zanesville. Minister Joe Roland officiating. Burial will follow in Iliff Cemetery, in Crooksville, Ohio. BURRELL FUNERAL SERVICES is serving the family.
