Darrell Eugene Morgan

Darrell Eugene Morgan, 70, of Zanesville, Ohio passed away Monday, August 22, 2022 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Darrell was born September 10, 1951 in Sutton, WV, son of the late Robert R. and Eunice (Westfall) Morgan. In addition to his parents, Darrell is also preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Sherri Morgan; and his siblings, Robert Morgan, Jack Morgan and Brenda Belknap Morgan, of West Virginia.
Darrell leaves to cherish his memory, his loving and dedicated wife, Joann Morgan; beloved children, Darrell Morgan, Jr. and Jeremy Morgan; siblings, Carolyn (Richard) Davidson, Shirley Taylor, Danny Morgan, Roger Morgan and Mark Morgan; grandchildren, special granddaughter Ciara, Adrick, special grandson Dairyen, Jaska, Jaiden, Jett, Jillian, and Ezra; great-grandchildren, Jaidison Gebhart, Kai and Kingston Morgan; special friend, Andrea Schaffer; and a host of other family members and friends.
Darrell spent many years working for the Lear Corp. He was a talented woodworker, able to craft anything from wood. In his free time, Darrell enjoyed spending time outside, fishing. Above most else, Darrell enjoyed spending time surrounded by his grandchildren. He was a wonderful provider who always worked to meet the needs of his family. He will be missed by many. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff of Genesis Hospice for their excellent care and support, as well as Burrell Funeral Services. 
You may call on the family for a residential viewing at the family home on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., where a service of remembrance will follow at 6 p.m., at 667 Spangler Dr., in Zanesville. Please send any floral arrangements to the home. An additional visitation will be held Thursday, August 25, 2022 from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m., also at the family home. Per Darrell's wishes, cremation will follow. Darrell's remains will be laid to rest in his home state of West Virginia at a later date. BURRELL FUNERAL SERVICES is serving the family.
