David Milton Curry Jr.

David Milton Curry Jr. 86, of Zanesville Ohio, passed away on Friday, May 31, 2024, after a long illness. David was born on September 6, 1937, in Somerset Ohio to David and Grace (King) Curry. David is preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Violet D. Curry who passed away on August 26, 2018; brothers, Don, Clem, Paul, Willard and Eugene; sisters, Sylvia Curry, Helen Walser and Edith Laird,

David leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter, Margaret (Rick) Moorehead; stepson, Jack Roden of Florida; two grandsons, Chris and Tim of Ohio and three great grandsons, Chance, Sylas and Jaxon; brothers, Robert (Jeanette) Curry, Ronnie (Pam) Curry; sisters, Eileen, Mary and Dorothy; as well as several other friends and family.

David was a graduate from Somerset High School. After high school he went on to serve our country in the United States Air Force in France. David enjoyed going hunting and fishing in his free time. He loved his grandson and great grandsons a lot. When summer came, he was glued to the TV to watch his favorite team, The Cincinnati Reds. David worked for Wisecarver Trucking, Dunn Trucking and Ok Coal. He was from a family of 14 children. David will be missed by all that knew him.

Per his wishes, cremation has been chosen and no services will be observed. BURRELL FUNERAL SERVICES is serving the family.
