Deborah Gassaway Obituary

Deborah Sue (Hite) (Sims) Gassaway, 66, of Zanesville, passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2020. Deborah was born January 1, 1954 to the late Floyd Nelson and Eleanor Francis (Cherry) Hite. In addition to her parents, Deborah is also preceded in death by her sons, Steven Eugene Sims, Jr. and Matthew James Sims.
Deborah leaves to cherish her memory, her son, Christopher Nelson Sims; numerous grandsons and granddaughters; brothers, Robert and Mike Hite; and many nieces and nephews.
Deborah graduated from Millersport High School. She went on to serve others as an employee of Newark Healthcare. Deborah attended Trinity Full Gospel Church. She enjoyed making various crafts and cooking for her friends and family. Deborah will be missed.
Per the family's wishes, cremation has been chosen and no services will be observed at this time. BURRELL FUNERAL SERVICES is serving the family.
