Deborah Givens Obituary

Deborah Sue Wade Givens, 63, went home to eternal rest on May 1, 2021 at The James Cancer Center in Columbus, Ohio. Deborah was born to the late James E. and Lillie B. Wade, Sr. on April 14, 1958 in Zanesville, Ohio. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, Harold, Ernest, Sylvester, Ella, and David.
Deborah leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband James Givens; her mother-in-law, Lillian Harris; stepchildren, James, Jerrone, Jeanne and Terrell; loving sisters, Deanna Martin, Rev. Dr. Gloria (Vermon) Dillion and Lucille (Wayne) Boyd; and loving brother, James (Helen) Wade; sisters-in-law, Patricia (Marvin) O’Daniel and Brenda Givens; a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, other family members and friends; most of all, Deborah leaves her heart grandson JaShad.
Deborah was a faithful member of Mt. Zion Church of God in Christ. A private viewing will be held for family, followed by private funeral services at Burrell Funeral Services. Cremation has been chosen by the family. Be advised that per CDC recommendation, those attending will be asked to wear a self provided face covering. BURRELL FUNERAL SERVICES is serving the family.
