Donna Lee (Grable) Besser

Donna Lee Besser, 84, of Zanesville, Ohio, passed away Monday, October 4, 2021. Donna was born November 30, 1936 to the late John I. and Nora E. (West) Grable. In addition to her parents, Donna is also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Glen Richard Besser; her sisters, Marjorie, Mildred and Dorthy; and brothers, John Grable and William Grable.
Donna leaves to treasure her memory, her loving children, Peggy (Hod) Brennan, Mary (Dan) Mills and Donald "Donnie" Besser; grandchildren, Terri (Matt) Watts, Brad (Amanda) Mills, Glen (Tammy) Besser, Jason Brennan, Todd (Ashley) Brennan, and Mindy Brennan; great-grandchildren, Kayla, Kaden, Lacie, Taylor, Jayden, Jonathan, Abbie, Makiyah, Derek, Dustin, Brandie and Robin; 2 special great-great-grandsons, Hunter and Hudson; siblings, Carol Grable and Dale Grable; several nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law, JoAnn Crozier, Catherine Starcher, Mary Ellen McClellan and Sharon (Roy) Massey; brother-in-law, Robert Besser; friend and caretaker of many years, Nurse Garnett; and a host of other family and friends.
Donna was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time completing crosswords or word searches from her puzzle books. Donna also looked forward to her time watching 'Days of Our Lives' each day. Above all else, Donna cherished the time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be deeply missed.
You may call on the family Friday, October 8, 2021 from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m., at Burrell Funeral Services, funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. Minister Donnie Watts officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. BURRELL FUNERAL SERVICES is serving the family.
