Dorothy L. Abrams 84 of Inverness, Florida & Duncan Falls, Ohio, formerly of Northern Cambria (Spangler) PA passed away peacefully March 29, 2025, at Genesis Hospice Care in Zanesville, Ohio surrounded by her loving family. Born November 19, 1940, the daughter of David & Leeta Mae (Loman) Douglas. Preceded in death by parents, husband Arthur, brothers Jack, David Daniel, George & Philip Douglas; sisters Anna Mae Stitt, Vivian Ruby, Nora Jeannine; sons Victor & Arthur Abrams & grandsons Ronald Joseph and Timothy.

Survived by brothers Clifford & Kevin Douglas, sisters Brenda & Lucinda Douglas. Also survived by sons David (Kathy) Abrams, Northern Cambria, Ronald (Lisa) Abrams, Manassas Virginia, Frank Abrams, significant other-Sarah Balsinger, Carolltown, Philip (Amanda) Abrams, Inverness Florida, 16 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren with one on the way and numerous nieces and nephews.

Dorothy retired from the Carroll Ann Dress Factory in Hastings, PA. After raising 6 boys & retiring from Carol Ann, she moved to Inverness Florida where she worked as a seamstress at a local shop part time. The last couple of years she moved to Duncan Falls to live with her sister Brenda whom provided care and assistance. The family is grateful for the compassionate care provided by her sister Brenda and the healthcare team at the Genesis Hospice Facility. Dorothy was an avid reader who also enjoyed doing ceramics in her younger years, square dancing, sewing and doing crafts with her grand-kids. Dorothy will be sadly missed by her family and all who knew her. Honoring Dorothy's request there will be no visitation or services held. A celebration of her life will be announced at a later date & time. Cremation Services provided by Burrell Funeral Home, Zanesville, OH.
