Douglas Richard Snider

Douglas Richard Snider, 69, of Zanesville, Ohio passed away Friday, February 19, 2021. Douglas was born February 9, 1952 to the late Carroll F. and Betty G. (Scott) Snider. 
Douglas leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Crystal Marie (Waltemire) Snider; beloved children, James (Julie) Snider, Marcus Snider, Holly (Patrick) Marsh and Ryan (Tammy) Mount; grandchildren, Tashia Tracey, Chloe Snider, Trent Weiser, Xavier Marsh, Kadin Mount, Landon Marsh and Gavin Mount; siblings, Frederick (Patty) Snider and Christine (Joe) Wickham; special cousin, Linda Cox and family; several nieces and nephews; and a host of many other family and friends.
Douglas was a practical jokester, always pulling pranks to make other people smile. He was an avid sports enthusiast, having coached biddy league football and baseball. Doug also enjoyed flag football. He also enjoyed outdoor activities such as hunting and fishing. In his free time, Doug loved to travel. Douglas was a kind hearted man who never met a stranger, a friend to all. He will be deeply missed.
A celebration of Douglas' life will be held Saturday, June 26, 2021. Visitation with family and friends will begin at 10:30 a.m., followed by a service of remembrance at 12 p.m., all of which is to be held at the Muskingum County Senior Center, 1118 West Main St., in Zanesville. A luncheon will be provided following the service.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to First United Methodist Church on Putnam Ave., in Zanesville, or The ABC Wilson Fund.
