Earnest "Buddy" Donald Woods

Earnest “Buddy” Donald Woods, 83, of Cambridge area, went on to receive his reward, May 15, 2024. Buddy was born on November 26, 1940, to Austin and Fanny (Blake) Woods. In addition to his parents, Buddy is preceded in death by his loving wife whom he married July 12, 1986, Nancy Sharlene Woods; daughter, Bonnie Heatherington; granddaughter, Rose Mcgainey; great granddaughter, Sarah Manlet and Riya Heatherington; brothers, Austin Butch Woods, David Woods and Robert “Bob” Woods; sisters, Doris Woods, Janice Opic, Priscilla “Sallie” Elliett and Brenda Solomon.

Buddy leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Andrea Rae Woods, of Pageland, SC, Peggy (Mike) Hayes of Norwich, Scott (Pam) Heatherington of Cambridge, Joni (Brian) Shuman of Cambridge, Amy McFarland of Cambridge; 15 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; sisters, Hatti (John) Barrett, Connie Wagner, Bonnie Lucas, Patty (Kevin) Ingold and Penny Koski; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Buddy was a devoted member of The Anchor Church. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He will be missed. You may call on the family Tuesday, May 21, 2024, from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m., at The Anchor Church with funeral services starting at 11 a.m.  Burial will follow funeral services in Holly Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 73360 Pleasant Grove Rd, Colerain, OH, 43916.
