Edward "Brooksie" Brooks Allender, Jr.

Edward Brooks "Brooksie" Allender, Jr., 53, of Zanesville, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly Monday, November 21, 2022 at his home. Brooksie was born June 20, 1969 in Canton, Ohio, son of  Edward "Bubby" and Norma Jean (Norman) Allender. Brooksie is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, John and Bessie Allender; maternal grandparents, Harold and Margaret Norman; and a brother, Jon Mark "Skippy" Chandler.
In addition to his loving parents, Brooksie leaves to cherish his memory, his sisters, Martha (Timothy) Allender Matthews and Norma (Jim) Allender; brother, John Edward Allender; a host of nieces and nephews who loved him dearly; his best friend, Chad Morrison; many other special friends who loved him, including Sharon and Kisha; and several other loved ones.
Brooksie loved to be outdoors. He enjoyed activities such as hunting and fishing. Brooksie was an avid Motocross fan. He was a beloved son, brother and uncle who will be greatly missed by many. You may call on the family Wednesday, November 30, 2022 from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m., at Burrell Funeral Services in Zanesville, during which time a few words will be shared by loved ones. Per Brooksie's wishes, cremation will follow. BURRELL FUNERAL SERVICES is serving the family.
