Frank Edward Colcher, 73, of Zanesville, Ohio passed away Monday, January 4, 2021. Frank was born July 27, 1947 to the late Harold “Judy” and Mildred (Windsor) Colcher. In addition to his parents, Frank is also preceded in death by two sisters, Gloria Matheny and Patty Haren.
Frank leaves to cherish his memory, his son, Kyle Colcher; daughter, Michelle Combs; sister, Judy Mizer; grandchildren, Arielle, Alexandra and Jonathan; great-grandchild, Zaid; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.
Frank was a graduate of Roscrans High School. He went on to dedicate many years of service as a laborer for Laborers Local 530 in Zanesville, before becoming a business manager until his retirement. Frank was a sports fan, avidly following the Cleveland Browns, the Cleveland Indians and The Ohio State Buckeyes. He was also an active member of the Zanesville Moose Lodge. In his free time, Frank enjoyed spending time with family and friends at his pool. He will be deeply missed.
Per the family’s wishes, a private family graveside service will be held in Frank’s honor. He will be laid to rest in Mt. Olive Cemetery, in Zanesville. BURRELL FUNERAL SERVICES is serving the family.
