Frank C. Diodato, 76, of Zanesville, Ohio, passed away at 11:10 AM on Thursday, December 19, 2024, peacefully at home with loving family and Hospice home care by his side. He was born February 14, 1948, in Harrisburg, PA, a son of the late Ralph M. and Grace M. (Kline) Diodato.
He is survived by a son, Virgil L. (May Ji) Beaston; five daughters, Vicky L. Wood, Tammy C. (Doug) Smock, Gina M. Wolford, Laura K. McMullen and Tara J. (Carl) Taylor; Nine grandchildren, Jessica, Leafen, Christopher (Jessica), Matthew (Beth), J. Alexander, Tabitha (James), Katie, Shane and SSG James (Elena); thirteen great grandchildren, Samwise, Lily, Maximus, Mason, Charlotte, Emberly, Maisilynn, Remington, Rylynn, Leon, Ava, Gracelynd and Christian; a sister Eileen B. (Dean) Harner and a sister in-law, Darlis E. Diodato; along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of twenty- seven years, Sharon “Sherrie” B. Cox Diodato; a sister, Kathryn M. Reed; two brothers, Ralph M. Diodato Jr. and Jon-Mark Diodato; and a brother in-law, Robert A. Reed Sr.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Shriver’s Hospice for their exceptional care and support, especially Jaden, Holly, Stephanie, Kim and Maddie. Per Frank’s wishes, no calling hours or services will be held. A dignified cremation took place. BURRELL FUNERAL SERVICES is serving the family.
