Gail Paige (Faithful) Curtis

Gail Paige Curtis, 66, of Zanesville, passed away Wednesday, August 19, 2020. She was born September 17, 1953 in Zanesville, Ohio, to the late Melvin and Inez (Williams) Faithful, Sr. Gail attended Zanesville High School. She shared her life in Zanesville with her loving husband, Jeff of many years.  The couple was known for their love to travel on the weekends. Gail was an extremely loving woman, who enjoyed helping others. She was a devoted Christian from an early age and a member of St. Paul A.M.E. church, in Zanesville. Gail and her husband once sung in the church choir together. Gail loved children and was known to enjoy looking after them, playing dress-up and taking them to church. It wasn't unusual for a child in the neighborhood to come to her house in hopes of a popsicle on a hot day. She was also known for her love of baking homemade pies and making candles. Gail will be deeply missed. 

She leaves to cherish her memory, her dedicated husband, Jeffery E. Curtis; her sister, Sharon Sue Curtis, of Maryland; her brother-in-law, John Henderson; several special nieces and nephews including Electra Curtis, Eric Curtis, Arcasia Curtis, John "Cory" Henderson, Jeremy (Emily) Henderson, Katina Martin, Melissa (Phillip) Wollam, Lamont McPherson-Robinson, Michael (Chalonda) Curtis, and Shannon Curtis; and a host of family members and friends. In addition to her parents, Gail is preceded in death by her brother, Melvin Faithful; sisters, Sandy Henderson and Phyllis McPherson; aunts and uncles including: Kurt Williams, JoAnn Williams and Juanita; and brother-in-law, Ronald Lee Curtis. You may call on the family Monday, August 24, 2020 from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m., with funeral service to follow at 11 a.m., at Burrell Funeral Services. Reverend Clifton Kilpatrick officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. BURRELL FUNERAL SERVICES is serving the family.
