Gary Lee Alexander, Sr.

Gary Lee Alexander, Sr., 67, of Zanesville passed away August 11, 2021 at Genesis Hospital . He was born July 12, 1954 to the late Hubert and Doris (Smith) Alexander.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Sharon Alexander; children, Yolonda Alexander, Anthony Williams, Gary Alexander Jr. and Bradley Grimes; step-children, Jake, Megan and Kendra Wartenbee; siblings, Greg, Eric and Brett Alexander, 23 grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Darnell Harris;  one sister, Loretta Horton and his step-father, Isaac Johnson.
Gary was very fashionable and liked to dress nice.  He had a wonderful sense of humor, a good heart and taking care of his family was a main priority.  He had worked at a steel mill in the past.  Family and friends also enjoyed Gary for his singing.  He was a motorcycle rider and member of "The Flames Motorcycle Club". 
You may call on the family beginning at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 with service at 12 p.m. at Burrell Funeral Services, 414 LaSalle St, Zanesville.  Robin Flowers will officiate the service.  Cremation has been chosen.
