Gary Lee Mayle Sr.

Gary Lee Mayle Sr., 62, passed away on June 17, 2026. He was born on June 5, 1964, to the late Paul Mayle and Emily Mayle.

In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by his brother, Donnie Mayle, and his sister, Frances Mayle.

Gary leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife, Debra Mayle; his children, David Mayle, Gary Mayle Jr., Steven Mayle, Sarah Mayle, Melissa Stillion, and Haleigh McClellan; his stepson, C.J. Hampton; several grandchildren; his siblings, John Mayle, Victoria Tabler, and Camilla Kennedy; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Gary enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. He loved watching television, especially old westerns and The Andy Griffith Show. He was an avid sports fan, enjoyed fishing, and treasured the time he spent with his family and friends. Gary had a great personality and a kind-hearted nature that made him easy to love and impossible to forget. His laughter, warmth, and friendship will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A memorial service to celebrate Gary's life will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at Burrell Funeral Services, Zanesville, Ohio. Family and friends are invited to attend and share in remembering a life well lived.

Cremation has been chosen.
