Geneva McWhorter Obituary

Geneva N. McWhorter, 65, of Avondale, Ohio, passed away Saturday, November 7, 2020 at her home with her loved ones. Geneva was born April 23, 1955, in Zanesville, to the late Elsworth and Alwilda (Newl) Worden. In addition to her parents, Geneva is also preceded in death by her husband, Frank F. McWhorter, Jr.; as well as, Eurnest Worden, Jake Worden and Robert “Runt” Hultzel.

Geneva leaves to cherish her memory, her loving and dedicated son, Frank McWhorter; grandchildren, Frank F. McWhorter, Brittany N. McWhorter and Austin L. McWhorter; family members, Dorthey Daugherty, Bertha Martindale, Lucy Buck, Elseworth Worden, Leslie Worden, Linda Dean, Hilda Ralph, Harry Worden and Margaret Golden; as well as other friends and family members.

Geneva was a graduate of Tri Valley High School. She later married her husband Frank R. McWhorter, Jr. Geneva was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She will be deeply missed. Per the family’s wishes, cremation has been chosen. BURRELL FUNERAL SERVICES is serving the family.
