George N. Holland

George N. Holland, 84, of Conesville, Ohio, joined the love of his life, Cecelia A. Holland in Heaven on Sunday, December 12, 2021 at his home. George was born December 27, 1936, in Chandlersville, Ohio, to the late George S. and Mary V. (Schilling) Holland. In addition to his parents, and his beloved wife, George is also preceded in death by his two sons, Allen Duane Holland and Nelson Edward Holland.

George leaves to cherish his memory, his beloved children, Cindy (Bob) Dalzell, of Conesville, OH, Janet (Cuddy) Ritchason, of Bakersfield, CA, Jim (Cheral) Wickham, of Arlington, WA, Joe (Chris) Wickham, of Zanesville, OH and Denny (Heaven) Holland, of Alabama; a brother, Gorden (Jan) Holland, of Las Vegas, NV; a sister, Cheryl Wilson, of Zanesville, OH; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as other relatives and friends.

George was a quiet and generous man, who loved his family and above all else, The Lord. He was a Blue Grass music fan. George loved to spend hours playing his guitar and sitting on the porch swing waving at the neighbors. He will be deeply missed by those who loved him.

George will be laid to rest alongside the love of his life in Chandlersville Cemetery in Chandlersville, Ohio. A celebration of George's life will be held Saturday, March 19, 2022 beginning at 2 p.m., at the Northside Church of The Nazarene, 739 Francis St., in Zanesville.
