Jack Leroy Hines-Ruby

Jack Leroy Hines-Ruby, 55, of Zanesville, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2022. Jack was born June 22, 1966 to Jack L. and the late Rosa Maria (Rose) Hines. In addition to Rosa, Jack is also preceded in death by his grandparents, Twila (Slater) and Harold L. Hines; cousin, Jerry Hines; and an uncle, Richard Hines.
Jack leaves to cherish his memory, his father, Jack L. Hines; parents, Ina and Earl Ruby; loving wife, Sandra L. (Paynter) Hines-Ruby; children, Cassandra (Michael) Wilson, Jessie Owen and Brandon (Julie) Owen; grandchildren, Gage, Jessie, Maddox, Mason, Colten and Karsen; siblings, Adam Ruby, Heather Craner, Stephanie Browning, Jennifer Carter, Jeff Hines, Jessie Hines and Tracey Ruby; several aunts and uncles; nieces and nephews; beloved pet dog, Toby; great neighbors, who became friends; and a host of other loved ones.
Jack was an avid huntsman. This past deer season, Jack took down his prized 12 point buck on opening day. He was also an accomplished fisherman, enjoying many fishing trips with Sandra. Jack loved tending their small farm, taking care of his chickens and keeping up his garden. If there were free moments to be had, you could find Jack outdoors, often with his grandkids. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be greatly missed.
You may call on the family Monday, March 7, 2022 from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. at Burrell Funeral Services in Zanesville. Per the family's wishes, cremation will follow. BURRELL FUNERAL SERVICES is serving the family.
