Jack Eldon Shilling

Jack Eldon Shilling, 91 years old, passed away January 20, 2024, at The Oaks at Bethesda in Zanesville, Ohio. Jack was born on July 15, 1932, to Dean and Eden Shilling of Malta Ohio. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his sister, Thea Nichols and his brother-in-law, Jeff Hooper.

Jack leaves to cherish his memory his wife JoAnn Shilling; sister, Sharon (Keith) Shaner of Zanesville; sister-in-law, Janet Smith of Dayton; several beloved nieces and nephews, as well as many other friends and family.

Jack served two years in the United States Army after graduating from high school. He was a broadcasting engineer at various radio and tv stations. In his spare time, he restored several vintage tractors. Jack will be missed by all that knew him.

Graveside services with military honors will be held at Maplewood Cemetery, Glouster, Ohio on Thursday, January 25, 2024, at 1 p.m. BURRELL FUNERAL SERVICES is serving the family.
