James Mittler Obituary

James Timothy Mittler, 70, of Zanesville Ohio passed away on Friday, February 7, 2025. James was born on January 13, 1955, to Scott and Ester (Hoyt) Mittler. In addition to his parents, James is preceded in death by his brothers, Vern and Steve Mittler; sister, Barb Warner.

James leaves to cherish his memory his fiancé, Julie Briggs; children, Rene Quarles of LA, Darby Hunt of AL, Crystal Foster of NY, Amanda Mittler of FL and Cheyenne Foster-Mora of NY; siblings, Ruth Hayes, Marie Fry, Deb Valo and Pete Mittler; fur babies, Jimmie T and Mittens; as well as several other friends and family.

James was a Vietnam veteran and an ordained minister. Per James wishes, cremation has been chosen. BURRELL FUNERAL SERVICES is serving the family.
