James "Jim" Snyder Obituary

James "Jim" Warren Snyder, 78, passed away following a long illness in the early morning of Sunday, April 10, 2022 at the Morrison House in Zanesville. Jim was born March 12, 1944 in Zanesville, Ohio, one of five children of the late Audrey Homman. In addition to his beloved mother, Jim is also preceded in death by a brother, Mike Homman; and two sisters, Martha Flynn and Shelly Homman.

Jim leaves to cherish his memory, his domestic partner of over 44 years, Shirley Armer; his brother, Raymond Snyder, of Tennessee; a son, Mark Snyder, of Muncie, Indiana; a daughter, Bonnie Snyder-Adams, of Zanesville; several grandchildren, including his treasured grandson, Jason Adams, with whom he spent every possible moment: going to car shows, playing video games and watching wrestling.

Jim was an avid golfer and car enthusiast. He dedicated several years of employment to OK Coal & Concrete. in his free time, Jim enjoyed golfing, watching NASCAR and of course, attending those car shows with his beloved grandson, Jason.

You may call on the family Thursday, April 14, 2022 from 3 p.m. until 4 p.m., at Burrell Funeral Services in Zanesville. Per the family's wishes, cremation will follow. BURRELL FUNERAL SERVICES is serving the family.
